The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated in a report issued today, that the Israeli occupation forces have launched a massive arrest campaign against young men in Jenin camp in the latest incursion.
The lawyer of the Commission, Shireen Iraqi, stated after a visit to Megiddo prison, that there is a crowding in the prisons' sections, where many persons have been arrested, where some of them are sentenced to administrative detention. Thus, a new section was opened for detainees from Jenin camp.
The representative of the prison, Jaser Abu Sarees, said "we witnessed a hard phase during the invasion of Jenin, where there was a massive arrest campaign against the residents of Jenin camp, the numbers of detainees increase every day and the section lacks the minimum of life fundamentals and should be equipped with food, canteen and the basic needs that enables detainees to live in dignity".

The lawyer of the Commission, Fawaz Shalloudi, stated that the injured detainee Shahin is accompanied by the detainee Jaradat.
She got injured in the spinal cord and abdomen during arrest, which caused paralysis, and she still suffers from severe pain that prevents her from sleeping.
The administration of prisons imposes additional punishments, where she is deprived of family visits and phone calls.

1. The room is very narrow and they can't move inside it

Abu Baker: we call upon Germany and Egypt to intervene to release the rearrested detainees of Shalit bargain
The head of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs, Qadri Abu Baker, called upon Germany and Egypt to intervene immediately to release the detainees of Shalit bargain in 2011, who got rearrested in 2014, in a campaign included 70 of them.
Abu Baker hoped from Germany and Egypt, being the sponsors of this bargain, to reopen this file with the Israeli government and release the 47 detainees who are still detained, such as Nael Barghouthi, who spent 44 years in prison.
He also confirmed that this demand is linked to their relationship with the bargain and its international and regional status. He stated that it is time to force Israel to respect what has been agreed on in 2011, which guaranteed releasing the Israeli soldier Jelaad Shalit.
Abu Baker stated that this bargain was guaranteed by an official and international sponsorship represented in Germany and Egypt, and today we are on the threshold of the 9th memorial of the rearresting campaign, we hope from the Egyptian leadership to raise the issue again and to discuss it with the relevant parties.
Abu Baker added "we pay tribute to all detainees who got rearrested, and we call upon all Palestinians and the human rights organisations, unions and Islamic and national factions to bear the national responsibility towards them and to activate their cause at all levels".
It is worthy to mention that the bargain was made on October 18, 2011, and they agreed on releasing the Israeli soldier Jelaad Shalit, handing him over to the Egyptian authorities in exchange of releasing 1027 Palestinian detainees, including 477 who were sentenced to life imprisonment and 550 sick, children, elderly and women, except for the detainee Lina Jarbouni.
It is also worth mentioning that 200 detainees from the West Bank have been deported to Gaza Strip.
Occupation authorities issued (290) orders of administrative detention last month
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that the Israeli occupation authorities had issued (290) orders of administrative detention, including (146) new orders and (144) renewals. The Israeli authorities tend to use the administrative detention as a means of collective punishment against Palestinians. The Commission stated that using this policy in this way comes in implementation of the decisions of the extremist right wing government, headed by Ben Gvir, and also stated that 90% of administrative detainees are former detainees. The administrative detention is a detention without any charge of trial, where the detainee and his lawyer are prevented from knowing the reason behind the detention, which contradicts the rules of International Humanitarian Law. The Israeli occupation authorities allege that administrative detainees have confidential files that could not be revealed, where the detainee does not know his charge nor his sentence.
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that after handing over the remain of the martyr Muhammad Turkman, from Jenin, who martyred last October, the Israeli authorities pursued withholding the remains of 11 martyrs from the Captive Movement.
The Commission recieved the remain after 10 months, and imposed strict conditions such as limiting the number of participants in the funeral to 25 persons.
He was buried in the village of Jdedat Almakr/ Acre, where the Israeli authorities forced his family to bury him within the lands occupied in 1984.
Martyrs whose remains are currently held by the Israeli authorities:
* martyr Anees Dolah, whose body is held since 1980
In commemoration of executing Muhammad Jamjoum, Fuad Hijazi, and Atta Alzeer
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs: the integrative relationship between the British Mandate and the Israeli occupation deprives the Palestinians from their right to normal life
June 17, 2023
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that Britain should hold full responsibility toward the the Palestinian people and what they are subjected to, in terms of displacement, house demolishing, detention and murder by Israel, which is considered a real extension of the crimes of British Mandate that gave them the right to establish a nation in Palestine.
The Commission pointed out that Britain is the main cause of suffering to the Palestinians, where they assassinated Muhammad Jamjoum, Atta Alzeer and Fuad Hijazi in 1930, in a crime that gave the green light to Israel to kill Palestinians.
The Commission stated "we live a bad commemoration today represented in executing the three heroes, where we recall executions and murders against our heroic detainees in Israeli prisons".
- (237) detainees in Israeli prisons have been murdered since 1967, including (76) by medical ignorance, (81) by direct killing, (73) by torture and (7) by shooting.
* the detainee Khader Adnan was the last who joined the list of "Captive Movement Martyrs", where he passed away after conducting a hunger strike for 87 days against his arbitrary administrative detention.
* Khader Adnan is the seventh martyr in the list of Captive Movement Martyrs, preceded by six detainees who passed away during collective hunger strike:
_ Abdulqader Abu Alfahem, who martyred in 1970 during a hunger strike in Ashkelon prison.

The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that the administration of Israeli prisons started to deduct from the canteen funds allocated to detainees, who have dental diseases due to the policy of medical ignorance. The Commission pointed out that the administration of prisons set the fee to (175) NIS per hour in the dental clinic of the prison, where the period of treatment is determined by the doctor, and he does not exceed the time limit. The Commission indicated that this procedure comes in line with a series of retaliatory measures issued by the right-wing extremist government controlled by the extremist minister Ben Gvir, who calls for turning detainees' lives into hell. The Commission called upon international human rights organisations, especially the World Health Organisation, to intervene immediately and put an end to this inhumane and unethical extremism, and oblige Israel to fulfil its commitments toward Palestinian detainees.
