The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that Yamam Special forces, heavily armed with weapons and police dogs, stormed section (12) at Ofer prison and transferred all detainees to section (18).

They attacked detainees and destroyed their belongings under the pretext of inspection and security reasons, which caused a state of tension in the prison.

The Commission stated that the administration of prison holds full responsibility on what is happening at Ofer prison and called all international organizations to intervene immediately to stop the occupation's crimes against Palestinian detainees.
