The chairman of the Commission of Detainees Affairs, Issa Qaraqe', and the chairman of the Palestinian Society Prisoner's Club, Qaddura Fares, said on Wednesday evening that each detainees Ahmad Sa'adat and Fuad Shobaki are symbols of freedom in the Palestinian people eyes, and witnesses on the continuous crimes of the occupation against deputies detainees, sick and old detainees.
These statements came in the twelfth anniversary for detaining the Secretary General of the Popular Front and the deputy in the Legislative Council, Ahmad Sa'adat and Fuad Shobaki, during a visit to their families in Ramallah.
It's worthy to mention that the leader Sa'adat, who is serving 30 years of imprisonment and jailed at Raymond Prison. He is deprived of family visits, since the occupation authorities still preventing three of his sons from visiting him since the date of his detention.
The Major General, Fuad Shobaki, is serving 17 years of imprisonment, where he has many illnesses and underwent many surgeries. He is currently held at Beersheba prison.
