Stability in the health condition of the child detainee Haitham Jaradat

The lawyers of the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Kareem Ajwah and Jad Qadmani, stated on Wednesday that the health condition of the 14-year-old detainee, Haitham Jaradat, is stable after undergoing a surgery in the abdomen to remove secretions. He is currently jailed at the surgery section of Shaare Zedek Hospital.

Lawyers explained that the detainee Jaradat was injured in his back during his arrest resulted in an urgent surgery.

Jaradat has been detained since September 13, where the military court in Ofer held a session in 14/9/2017 to extend his arrest. His detention was extended for 11 days in absentia due to his health condition at that time.
