Commission of Detainees’ Affairs

Since 1967, the number of martyrs from the Palestinian Captive Movement has risen to 307, including 44 from the Gaza Strip whose identities and details are documented.

The Commission strongly warns of the escalating and unprecedented danger facing thousands of Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation prisons. The continuous rise in the number of martyrs reflects the brutal and systematic crimes committed against them, crimes that persist every hour of every day, under conditions that blatantly violate international humanitarian law.
