Detainees held in Gilboa prison suffer from critical health conditions

. Detainees held in Gilboa prison complained about the tough procedures implemented during Ramadan in terms of the extreme cold, brutal treatment and malnutrition.

They asked for the following:

. Immediate provision of additional copies of the Quran, as there is only one copy per room.

. Allow the entry of wristwatches into the rooms.

. Access to accurate prayer and fasting (Imsak) schedules.

. Improvement of the Iftar meal by increasing portions and providing more variety.

. To perform all religious rituals without restrictions.

*Detainees who were visited:
. Detainee Muhammad Mahmoud, from Um Alfahem town, suffers from critical health condition due to scabies infection, in the light of deliberate medical neglect, in addition to ill treatment and repeated attacks by prison guards.

.Detainee Basel Abu Tamam, suffers from neurological seizures and has also scabies, which led to a severe skin infection requiring antibiotics. Despite his condition, he was subjected to beatings by prison guards.
