IPS pursues its fascist policies and attacks against detainees

 

 

 🔺Detainees in Etzion detention center face tragic conditions The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs stated today that detainees in Etzion detention center are confronting bad situations due to the ill treatment imposed against them, where (110) detainees are held there and suffer from the overcrowding, poor quantity of food, medical ignorance and continuous blackmail. The lawyer of the commission visited (33) detainees and confirmed that they are exposed to severe beating, torture and degrading treatment, and signs of torture and assault appear on their bodies. 

 🔺 The Commission pointed out that its lawyer Kareem Ajwa visited the leader detainee Zakaria Zubaidi, who is isolated in Ashkelon prison. Zubaidi said “the isolation cell is empty and I am not allowed to go to the prison’s courtyard, the food is very bad and I don’t have enough clothes, my cell is inspected everyday. They isolated me in Ashkelon since three weeks, and before that I was isolated in Remonim and Remon solitary confinement “.

 🔺 The Commission said that the occupation holds full responsibility towards the life of detainee Mohammad Tanji, who has difficult health conditions, as he was exposed to five attempts of assassination and has injuries in the shoulder and arm and fractures in the pelvis, now he is disabled and uses wheelchair.
