Latest updates on detainees' conditions

🔺️ The Commission of Detainees Affairs publishes the details of health condition of the detainee Yazan Hanatsheh, 23, from Jenin.
He suffers from several diseases due to falling down from a high place before his arrest. He had fractures in the ribs, spine and the pelvis, in addition to lung problems.
However,  the administration of prison keeps delaying his appointment to the clinic and giving him the appropriate medical care.
He was detained in 4/5/2023 , and sentenced to 6 months of administrative detention.

🔺️ Detainee Sultan Khalaf is on hunger strike since 21 days.
The Commission confirmed that Khalaf, 43, from Jenin,  is on hunger strike since 21 days, in a protest against his administrative detention. He started his strike since the first day of arrest in 3/8/2023, where he said that the Israeli forces attacked him in a brutal way and then took him to Huwara detention center.
The Commission stated that the administration of prisons intended to torture him several times by transferring him from Huwara to Megiddo prison every day. The Commission stated that he refused to conduct medical tests or take supplements or medications, noting that he has diabetes, discs in the back and neck,  breath shortness and imbalance in hormones and liver enzymes.

🔺️ The Commission of detainees stated that the Israeli authorities
extended the detention of Maher Akhras for 7 days under interrogation.

It is worthy to mention that the detainee is on a hunger strike for the second day.
He entered a hunger strike on November 2020 for 103 days , protesting against his administrative detention
