Massive arrest campaign in Jenin camp 

 

 

The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated in a report issued today, that the Israeli occupation forces have launched a massive arrest campaign against young men in Jenin camp in the latest incursion. 

 

The lawyer of the Commission, Shireen Iraqi, stated after a visit to Megiddo prison, that there is a crowding in the prisons' sections, where many persons have been arrested, where  some of them are sentenced to administrative detention. Thus, a new section was opened for detainees from Jenin camp. 

 

The representative of the prison, Jaser Abu Sarees, said "we witnessed a hard phase during the invasion of Jenin, where there was a massive arrest campaign against the residents of Jenin camp, the numbers of detainees increase  every day and the section lacks the minimum of life fundamentals and should be equipped with food, canteen and the basic needs that enables detainees to live in dignity".
