Commission of Detainees' Affairs: 11 martyrs' remains are withheld by the Israeli authorities

The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that after handing over the remain of the martyr Muhammad Turkman, from Jenin,  who martyred last October,  the Israeli authorities pursued withholding the remains of 11 martyrs from the Captive Movement. 
 
The Commission recieved the remain after 10 months, and imposed strict conditions such as limiting the number of participants in the funeral to 25 persons.
 
He was buried in the village of Jdedat Almakr/ Acre, where the Israeli authorities forced his family to bury him within the lands occupied in 1984.
 
Martyrs whose remains are currently held by the Israeli authorities:
 
* martyr Anees Dolah, whose body is held since 1980
 
* martyr Azeez Ewaisat, since 2018
 
* martyr Fares Baroud, since 2019
 
* martyr Nassar Taqatqa, since 2019
 
* martyr Bassam Sayeh, since 2019
 
* martyr Saadi Gharabli, since 2020
 
* martyr Kamal Abu Waer, since 2020
 
* martyr Sami Emour, since 2021
 
* martyr Dawood Zubaidi, since 2022
 
* martyr Nasser Abu Hmaid, since 2022
 
* martyr Khader Adnan, since May 2023
