The Commission of Detainees' Affairs condemns the continuous targeting of citizens from Jerusalem and the escalated attack against them
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs condemned the ferocious attack against citizens of Jerusalem which increased lately day by day, in an attempt to force residents to leave the city.
Israeli occupation authorities deliberately wage a war against the people of the holy city at all levels, where detainees are targeted in issuing unjust sentences against them and imposing high fines.
A case in point is Sameeha Judeh from Jerusalem who was sentenced to 180 hours of public service, a fine of NIS 1500 and a suspended sentence of two months of imprisonment.
It is worth mentioning that Jude suffers from many health problems such as cancer, osteoporosis and bone cartilage.
The commission also stated that the occupation authorities are increasing the punitive measures against people of Jerusalem on a daily basis, such as daily arrests, withdrawing IDs, house demolishing and retaining martyrs' bodies.
The commission pointed out that the attack practiced by the Israeli government against the people of Jerusalem is a systematic collective punishment to break their will and steadfastness.
