MG. Qadri Abu Baker calls on the leaders of Arab states to put the detainees cause on their priority
The head of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs, MG. Qadri Abu Baker, paid tribute to the leaders of Arab countries in the wake of the thirty- second session of the Arab summit, which was held on 1st and 2nd of this month in Algeria.
Abu Baker stated : " the presence of the Palestinian detainees cause in this session confirms its fairness and regional and national importance.
It also confirms on the close correlation with arab people and governments, where the recommendations included clear and obvious clauses related to the Palestinians right of self-determination ,ending the occupation and stopping all violations such as detention and other unethical practices".
Abu Baker pointed out that " the presence of detainees cause in the summit shall be realistic to all arabs , where the past few years witnessed a retreat in the financial and moral obligations, which affected the status of this cause on regional and international levels".
The head of the Commission stressed on the necessity of creating Arab initiatives to call on releasing detainees of long terms, sick detainees, minors, women and administrative detainees.
Abu Baker paid a special tribute to the republic of Algeria, the president, people and government, especially the media system that publishes the cause of our detainees to the whole world.
