"The Israeli Supreme Court" refuses the plea submitted by the Commission of detainees, regarding the administrative detention against the detainee al-joujo
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that the so-called "Israeli Supreme Court" refused the plea submitted by the Commission against the administrative detention order of the detainee Jum'a al-joujo from Bethlehem.
The Commission explained that the occupation authorities have arrested him in 19/11/2020, and issued a sentence of administrative detention for six months against him.
The Commission pointed out that the Israeli Supreme Court has refused 13 pleas against the administrative detention orders, submitted by the Commission since the beginning of 2021.
Moreover, the occupation authorities turned the military courts into a political mean which helps to abuse and suppress the Palestinian detainees during arrest, interrogation and moot courts.
It's worthy to mention that Jum'a al-joujo is from Gaza Strip. He has been arrested many times, the first of which was in 2003, where he was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment. He has been exiled to the West Bank after releasing him. He got arrested in 2015 for two years, and rearrested another time last year under the administrative detention.
